Greek Myth in Contemporary Fiction

ENG 2040-01: Great Books

~Hello~

Picture
My name is Olivia Parrish. I am a freshman at Wright State University with a major in English. I aspire to be a high school English teacher and author. Through a series of blogs and  ultimately a final project, I will be discussing and analyzing modern literature that retells the stories of ancient Greek myths. With these analyses, we will be able to see how these epic sagas have changed over time and how their messages and themes have stood the test of time.

Myth (n.)

A traditional story, especially one concerning the early history of a people or explaining some natural or social phenomenon, and typically involving supernatural beings or events.
